College Con 2026 is Persist Coaching’s annual summer experience designed to help incoming college freshmen feel prepared, confident, and connected before the fall semester begins. This year’s theme, “The Picture Perfect Start,” focuses on helping students build a strong foundation for college success through real conversations, practical workshops, and community support.
Whether you are attending a 2-year college, 4-year university, or technical program, College Con is here to help you start strong and persist through graduation.

Communicate Like a Boss: Learn communication techniques for new college students, including how to email professors, advocate for yourself, ask for help, build confidence, and navigate campus conversations.

Financial Fitness & Budgeting for the New College Student: Practical money management tips for students, including budgeting basics, understanding financial aid, managing expenses, avoiding common money mistakes, and preparing for financial independence.

Main Character Mindset: This workshop helps incoming freshmen explore identity, mental health, boundaries, confidence, and the pressure to “have it all figured out.” Through real conversation and practical tools, students will learn how to protect their peace, show up as themselves, and build a college experience that supports who they are becoming.
