College Con 2025: Building Bridges Between Students and the Community

This year’s College Con was more than an event — it was a celebration of possibility, connection, and community spirit. On July 29th, students, educators, and community members filled the space with energy, curiosity, and collaboration.

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., attendees joined engaging panel discussions led by college representatives, education advocates, and local leaders. Conversations ranged from navigating the application process to finding scholarships, choosing the right major, and building career readiness skills.

Our partners made the day unforgettable. We’re deeply grateful to the Nashville Predators, Tiff’s Treats Cookies, and Edley’s Bar-B-Que for fueling both our stomachs and our spirits. And of course, a huge thank you to every panelist, volunteer, and community supporter who made College Con possible.

For students, College Con was a chance to dream big and gather the tools to turn those dreams into plans. For the community, it was a reminder that investing in education pays off — in stronger careers, stronger neighborhoods, and stronger futures.

We can’t wait to see the connections formed at College Con grow into stories of persistence, achievement, and leadership. Until next year, keep exploring, keep asking questions, and keep building your future.
