Briana attended Bard College through the Posse Foundation where she studied music & performance. She spent two years after college acting, directing, and teaching music & theater in the Atlanta area where she grew up. After joining Teach for America, she served as a high school English teacher in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Nashville where she taught 11th grade College Prep and Theater Arts for 9th - 12th.
 
Currently, she is pursuing her master's degree in clinical Mental Health and Behavior Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University. In her spare time, you can find her lost in a good book, enjoying live music, and playing with her dog, Pepper.
