MEGAN MCNEESE

Associate Director of Coaching

Megan joined Persist in 2021, after spending over four years as the Student Support Specialist for the Bridges to Belmont program. During her time at Belmont, she supported MNPS students throughout their college journey, with particular focus on mentoring programs, leadership and professional development, community service engagement, and other co-curricular resources.

Prior to that role, she worked in Campus Living & Learning at Baylor University while she earned her master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration.

She began her career working with students at McGavock High School through Rocketown’s after-school and summer camp programs. Megan has over 11 years of experience working with MNPS and college students, and she is passionate about helping students cultivate a growth mindset, sense of belonging, and strong time management and organizational skills in order to thrive in college and beyond.

Megan is also a wife and mom. In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her family, baking sourdough bread, reading, or dabbling in creative hobbies like watercolors or hand-lettering.
